Being an African American in A Raisin under the sun shows Walt having so many dreams nevertheless a your life that this individual cannot get free from. Walter disliked his lifestyle, he was very unhappy with how he previously to live when white people were so well away. He attempted so many approaches to forget his problems nevertheless he simply could not. Walt feels totally trapped in the life style nevertheless deals with this in ways that sometimes damage the relatives. The problems in Walter's life exceed many ways he can handle them. Walter absolutely cannot stand his task. He believes that like a driver for any white man is a awful job. This individual complains regarding working and going to work all the time. Along with yell by others who had a better life than him. Like when he yelled by George if you are a college boy that is taught to, " …talk right and go through books and wear them faggoty-looking white shoes…” (85). This individual does not like that George goes to college and comes away better than he could be because of education. He even offers troubles with his wife. They will fight a whole lot mostly above his dreams. He thinks that Ruth does not have confidence in any of his dreams. Each time he wants to do something like his desire opening a dry solution she would certainly not let him. His new dream of opening a liquor retail store was turned down by Ruth right away. Ruth saying not any made him mad and he complained, " Gowns it. There you happen to be. Man say to his woman: I got me a dream. His woman say: Eat your eggs” (33). He would like to show Ruth that he's upset that she will not believe in him and his dreams. There is also one more problem with how they live. He could be upset that his son cannot have got a room of his personal and has to sleep on the lounger. Walter gets mad when ever Ruth tells Travis that he simply cannot have 60 cents intended for school. Walter's financial life makes him very upset, he needs to work, this individual has to give up on his dreams because he cannot afford to invest in these people, as well as his son sleeping on a sofa and not a bed.
