The Outsiders Book Review
" The Outsiders” is a story written by S. E. Hinton in 1967. The story is placed in Tulsa, Oklahoma, more than 40 years ago. The publication follows two rival organizations, the Greasers and the Socs (short to get socials). The groups will be divided by economic position of their communities.
The main Heroes are Ponyboy Curtis, Sodapop Curtis, Darry Curtis, Linger; dawdle Winston, Two-Bit Mathews, Steve Randle, and Johnny Cade. Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry are 3 brothers that look out for each other after their very own parents perished in a car crash. Dally is among the roughest of the Greasers. His violent habits make him more harmful than the different greasers, and he takes pride in his criminal record. Two-Bit can be described as wisecracking greaser who frequently shoplifts. Sam Randle is Sodapop's closest friend since grade school. Johnny Cade is Ponyboy's best friend, 16 years old, and lives with his intoxicating and violent mother and father.
1 night, Linger; dawdle, Johnny and Pony meet two amazing Soc ladies, Cherry and Marcia. Cherry wood is smart and dreamy like Ponyboy, and they have a fantastic conversation. In route home, the girls' boyfriends catch all together. As it happens that Cherry's boyfriend is usually Bob, a similar boy who beat Ashton up. After that night, Ponyboy comes home past due and gets into such a fight with Darry, then operates to the recreation area with Ashton just to get away from the house. Greg and his friends find Horse and Ashton there, and nearly drown Pony in a fountain. Terrified and furious, Johnny stabs Bob to death.
Both boys run to find Dally, knowing he will know what to do. He offers them funds and tells them to conceal in a church a short range out of town. That they stay there for a few days and nights, reading to one another and referring to poetry and sunsets. When Dally involves find them, they will tell him they wish to turn themselves in. Before they can, yet , the church catches fireplace and several young kids are caught inside. Without thinking, the boys rescue these people, and a sizable piece of burning up wood falls on Ashton and...
